About Us

Dr. Anique McCrea-Spence

Born and raised in Saskatoon. She completed a Bachelor of Science in Biology at the University of Saskatchewan, and received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in 2011. She enjoys spending time at home or at the family cabin with her husband, daughter and dogs. Anique worked at the clinic as a student in 2010 and joined full-time in 2013 after returning from a two year mixed animal practice in Yorkton. She became the sole owner of the clinic in 2019.

Dr. Breanne Couperthwaite

Born and raised in Saskatoon and has aspired to be a veterinarian since she was a young girl. In 2007 she graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Saskatchewan and she is a 2011 graduate of the Western College of Veterinary Medicine. She has previously practiced in Prince Albert and is very excited to be back in the city she loves. Breanne lives in Warman with her husband Andrew, their two Labrador Retrievers – Penny and Gemma, and her newt Bullet. She enjoys participating in many dog sports with her dogs such as agility, scent detection, and dock diving.

Darla Cole, RVT

Born in Moose Jaw she moved to Saskatoon in 1995 to attend the Veterinary Technician course at SIAST Kelsey Campus. She has worked in the small animal field since graduation in 1997. Darla attended an Edmonton Advanced Dentistry Course in 2004 and a Florida Certified Canine Rehab Assistant Course in 2009. She lives on an acreage with her family, two dogs, and three cats. She joined the team in 2013.

Courtney Penner, RVT

Local to Saskatoon, Courtney completed the Veterinary Technologist program at SaskPolytech in 2019. Outside of the clinic, Courtney is a busy hockey mom of two boys and in the off season she enjoys the outdoors, fishing and reading. Her house is filled with three cats and a dog. She joined the Woodridge team in 2023.

Kathleen Harmsworth, VOA

Kathleen was born and raised in Saskatoon and has wanted to work around animals since she was a kid. She graduated from CDI College online to be a Veterinary Heathcare Assistant in 2022. She currently works in front reception and is always excited to help out with animal care. She has two small dogs (Uno and Cola) and loves nothing more than taking them everywhere for outdoor activities including paddle boarding, swimming, fishing and exploring new places. She joined the Woodridge team in 2022.

Andrea Klein, VOA

Born in Edmonton and raised in an Air Force family, she has lived in multiple towns. She completed her Veterinary Office Assistant Course at McKay Career Training in 2012. She enjoys spending time at home with her husband, her dog Chloe and her cats Maple Bacon & Syrup. They also love heading out to hockey rinks to watch WHL or to small towns to watch Senior Hockey. She and her husband love traveling in the province, checking out elevators and water towers. As of 2020, her and her husband had traveled over all of the ferries in Saskatchewan. She joined the team in 2024.
